What is your method of starting the New Year? Do you make a New Year’s Resolution? Do you do something else?
I don’t make New Year’s Resolutions and haven’t for over a decade. My sister told Me that she had a theme or phase for the year. This seemed imminently more reasonable than some unforgiving and measurable goal.
Each December I look at where I am and what sort of things I would like to change. This year the big factor was making sure that the goal was something within My control. Can you imagine? A femdom wanting control; makes Me laugh just thinking of it. OK, back to the point . . .
I have had themes like being fit, maintenance (liked My life the way it was), and success (was named President of a company that year). Each was successful in that they changed My behavior throughout the year and kept Me focused. I used them as screen savers, bought letters that spelled the words and left them around My life . . . easier than remembering a “goal”. Additionally, each day didn’t mean success or failure . . . instead each day was a day I tried.
This year’s themes are being fit and finding balance.

Outstanding resolutions both Lady HotchKiss, but if I may be so bold, you already seem fit and beautiful to me.
I do not know anyone who seems so even keel and balance than you do to me. I have needed that so much these past months.
I thank you again for all the conversations that we have had. Of course, if that earns me a ___________, then I gladly submit.
For me personally, I hope to continue to improve in both those areas. I guess we never see ourselves the way others might, and I know we can always be hard on ourselves when we probably shouldn’t.
