I wrote and article about letting prosperity in . . . I adpoted two YOUNG kitties from a friend (sort of family) with the understanding that she would take care of the expenses. Being 3-weeks old when I got them; it was easy to anticipate that there would be some vet bills.
One (the female) had already been to the vet once . . . she torn the nipple off the feeding bottle.
On Friday sled and I noticed a little blood coming from the male and decided to watch and wait and see what happened. It appeared to be better over the weekend . . . then Monday morning there was a spot of blood; bigger than on Friday. Called my friend and we were off to the vet.
The female was doing OK; only down 8 grams from 318. The male was down 60 grams or almost ¼ his body weight. The vet suggested a 2 night stay for each . . . my “friend” refused to pay for that and instead wanted me to take them home and spend MORE hours caring for them and didn’t really care so much about me having another pet die so soon after Sport.
This person is mostly a “friend” because she is sort of family. I am guessing that all of my readers know what is happening with that “friendship”.
Last night they appeared to be doing better . . . hopefully today’s kitten update will good also.

So much for this experiment in letting prosperity in; perhaps it will go better next time.

This morning the kittens have gained weight and the little one drank a whole bottle! Yeah.
