Decision making is one of the underlying principles that give insight on how someone thinks. I am beginning to understand it also gives insight to how a couple thinks, works, and thrives.
Decision and the process to get there illuminate who and what you value, what strategies you think are effective, and the themes that are presently important to you.
Each of us is responsible for the life we lead. Take a moment and consider what that means. Really, YOU are responsible for your life, your happiness, and your learnings. Why do you make certain choices? Be conscious is your decisions, be fully present in them . . . as they are YOU. You will never be able to undo them; they trail around behind you forever; and ever. Live your life without regret; make decisions that you can stand by for eternity.
That last paragraph sounded kind of intense; it was meant to. Don’t go along and float through you life; PARTICIPATE in your life, BE your life. There is nothing else; so enjoy it or change it. Either way, you start with a decision.
As for decision making in a relationship . . . that is how two people work together to build their life. Just when you have this down for yourself, then it gets complicated!
