There is an article in this issue of Personal Development about finding prosperity by allowing people to do things for you. This article was focused on money; but, I am focusing on having a richer life. I was thinking about this concept during my travels to see my sister and her family.
While there, my sister asked her boys what happened that day that they were grateful for. The more interesting answers were from my sister and me. I was grateful to be there and to be of “service” to my sister and her family. They needed a break and accepted my offer to help for a few days.
My sister’s answer was amazing. That day she was driving the boys home from school and near the food pantry (not a store) there was a gentleman riding his bike with boxes of food . . . careening because he was trying to carry too many things. She offered assistance to him and he allowed her to help . . . she took the food in her car and drove it to his home. Again, she was grateful to have been of service.
While my sister is not a Domme, she is clearly in a female lead relationship; even though she would deny it . . . the lesson; being of service brings meaning to life; even if you have slaves.
