Last week I wrote about allowing prosperity into your life. Basically, it was about allowing people to help and be a part of your life. I got to see this in action AGAIN this week. This time it was Me that accepted assistance.
As you know . . . Sport died recently. I am still kinda in shock and recovering from that, going to my sister’s house, and generally having way toooooo much to do. Right after returning from my sisters, I had a nice afternoon planned with The Coterie (blog next week) . . . which turned into 12 hours of FUN. In the middle of which, I got a call from a friend.
She is a realtor and had found 2 3-week old kittens in a model home. She said they looked just like Sport and would I help her out with them. I said I would be over the next day to take a look; I simply was ready to say YES! Wow, not ready at all. I knew the answer would be “yes” . . . but needed a little time to process.
I went on Saturday morning and OF COURSE they now live with sled and I! My friend offered to take care of the vet expenses . . . and thinking of My post last week . . . I said “yes, that would be appreciated”. It was such a different feeling; normally I am the one “giving”. Allowing Myself to receive was truly unique.
As for the kittens . . . THEY are running the household for now with feedings every 4 hours, bleating (otherwise known as mewling), and a trip to the vet for Fetish. She was doing a little EXTREME nipple play on the feeding bottles and ended up SWALLOWING the nipple. The smaller one (a male) is still unnamed; taking all suggestions (just leave a comment)!
