sled and I went to the Southeast Leatherfest on June 10!
It started to with a trip for sled to the doctor for an 11:30 appointment; and NO food since midnight! I had suggested a 11:30pm snack, but we were sleeping that the appointed hour. He insisted that he could handle it and that he wasn’t hungry. The appointment went, but was far away from the event. After harrowing trip over; during which sled was distracted, ornery, and short – yes, while DRIVING! Normally, he is not like that; so, I was pretty sure what the problem was.
After virtually, RUNNING 3 blocks in heels . . . we made it to Thai Me Up (how appropriate!) for lunch. By the time we sat down to eat it was 1pm and sled hadn’t eaten for about 17 hours! The meal was GREAT – I had the Pad Thai and I ordered the Noodle Chicken Curry for sled. I would offer a very good recommendation for this restaurant; even with another name!
So . . . we were off to the classes at SELF. None on Friday were of particular interest; so I decided to be random and attend workshops we wouldn’t normally. The first seminar was Managing Service by Kim Attica. This was a class filled with Kim’s vibrant and humorous personality. She was entertaining, informative, genuine, and engaging. She and her slave provided practical advice for living 24/7 as M/s. If I saw Kim was a presenter, I would take the course – NO MATTER WHAT THE TITLE! The second session, I decided we would go to Arts & Crafts! Of Rituals, That Is by Master Larry and slave barb. This was an educational and interesting talk from a 27-year couple with International credentials. Since the power was out for about half the presentation; they really have a story to tell at future seminars! Finally, I spoke with someone that evening in the dungeon; they had attended Cocksucking/Dyke Style by Sir Top and slave bonnie (FemDom and male slave) and found it quiet enlightening.
Then off to the Dungeon . . . Off to the Dark Side!
